I know from the title, that many will think it’s another story complaining about commute time to on-site jobs. Well, it surely is. But before you go I want to share with you the medical, physical, and emotional strains I have seen after just one month of commuting to work.

That goes to say that persons doing it for longer than myself, I respect the s**t out of you.

Physical Health Impacts

Driving for extended periods can have significant effects on physical health. Long commutes are associated with higher risks of high blood pressure, musculoskeletal disorders, and even heart disease. I work on a computer all day. My neck and back hurts at the end of the day no matter how many times I change position and walk around.
